Abstract Water glass and silica-alumina sol were used as adhesives, uniformly mixed with silicon carbide powder. The effects of binder, binder concentration, sintering temperature, process on the granularity reconstruction SiC powders studied in detail. results show that when water is binding agent, vacuum can effectively inhibit oxidation carbide, suitable granulation samples are obtained at a concentration 5%. When silica-aluminum it discovered increase engagement particle size, best effect achieved 10%. Both systems agents successfully bind micronized powder, enlarge particles, accomplish goal Granularity reconstruction.
